This is the Hungarian Parliament building located in Budapest, Hungary. I took this photo from the Chain Bridge which connects both banks of the Danube. This is one of the more impressive structures I have seen.

Paris, France

This was taken on the bank of the river Seine in Paris, France. I really enjoy the colors in this photo and the way the lights reflect off the water. Paris is one of my favorite cities and I would love to live there if I could manage to teach myself French. haha

Budapest, Hungary

As you can probably tell by now, I enjoy capturing bridges at night. This is the Chain Bridge in Budapest, Hungary which connects Buda and Pest. I was able to get this image by standing in the median with my tripod and my 55-300 mm lens. I have a few more images of the bridge that I will post later.

Budapest, Hungary

I took this photo near Castle Hill in Budapest, Hungary. I was literally freezing my butt off and would not have been able to get any night shots if it were not for my Northface gloves. I was able to get the shot by balancing my camera on the railing of a bridge overlooking the path of the Tram.

Paris, France

I took this shot while walking to the Breizh Cafe near the Vanessa Bruno boutique on rue vieille du temple in Paris. I like the photo for the aging on the fence posts as well as the lighting. I think there is something uniquely Parisian about the colors in this photo.

London, England SW1

This is another dusk photo taken near the Westminster tube station. I really like that that the image has two london icons: the underground sign and the red, double decker bus. If you look closely at the underground sign, you can see a bit of blurriness caused by the combination of my generally shaky hands and the unusually cold weather last winter. haha. Finally, this photo was taken with the Pentax DAL 55-300mm lens which I am a big fan of.

London, England SW1

I guess this is technically a dusk photo but I think it is a good fit for the blog nevertheless. It was taken last winter when it was extremely cold and snowy in London. The picture was shot just outside the Westminster tube station using my K-x and the Pentax DAL 55-300 mm lens. I was originally looking to photograph the tube sign and ended up taking this somewhat creative shot.

London, England SE1

This is one of my favorite night travel pictures. It was taken during the spring of 2010 on Tower Bridge in London. I used my Pentax K-x and a generic tripod to take the photo. I cleaned it up a bit using Adobe Lightroom on my Mac. I am particularly pleased with the photo since it was taken with the "kit" 18-55 mm lens.
